Discovery Flights

Come enjoy an introductory flight lesson that will consist of…

- About an hour of flight time

- Scenic views and pictures along Lake St. Clair and the St. Clair River

- Take the controls for the first time with a certified flight instructor next to you, helping and walking you through the basics of flight.

Private Pilot

61.109 Requires the amount of time listed below for a private pilot certificate

- At least 40 hours of flight time

- 20 hours of flight training from authorized flight instructor of which must include

  • 3 hours of cross country time

  • 3 hours of night training

  • 3 hours of flight training only by reference to instruments

- 10 hours of solo flight time

  • 5 hours cross country

- Will need a ground course from one of our instructors or from an online course to take and pass the Private Pilot written exam.

Commercial Pilot

61.129 Requires the following aeronautical experience

- Need to be rated to fly a airplane single-engine land

- log at least 250 hours of flight time

- 100 hours pilot-in-command flight time

  • 50 hours of cross country PIC

- 20 hours of training-

  • 10 hours instrument

  • 10 hours in complex airplane

- 10 hours of solo-

  • 5 hours in night conditions

  • one cross country flight of 300 nautical miles, one leg of this cross country must be 250 nautical miles from one airport to the other

- Will need a ground course from one of our instructors or from an online course to take and pass the Commercial Pilot written exam.

Flight reviews

- Will consist of 1 hour on the ground and 1 hour of flight, or more

- The lesson you will go over will be made by the instructor giving the flight review

- Don't worry, you can’t fail a flight review, if we have to do some further training, it is no big deal

- Our instructors want to help you leave the flight review feeling safe and excited to get back in the airplane

Aircraft rental

- Come rent our airplane!

- Before you can take the airplane, you will have to do a checkout flight with one of our instructors, and sign a rental agreement.
